With the days getting longer and spring just around the corner, I can sense change in the air...not just a seasonal change, but big changes that will affect every part of my life to include my lifestyle, livelihood, spirituality, health, and personal relationships. Changes of this magnitude are not uncommon in my life. In fact, over the years I have made several life-altering changes, some deliberate and some in response to situations out of my control. Thus far, each change has been successful resulting in new opportunities, challenges, and increased knowledge and wisdom. For me, change is not the enemy. I plan for it, embrace it, guide it to the best of my ability, and seize every opportunity that arises. In fact, I have already made some moderate changes in my life since the New Year, namely I discontinued my satellite TV service, modified my diet, and resumed reading and writing several hours a day again. I can already feel the satisfaction, energy, and strong feeling of liberation that comes from positive change. Yes, big changes are coming and I am ready. It's time to put into action what I've been planning for the past ten years. Wish me luck!
How exciting, Thomas! I do wish you luck, you certainly deserve much happiness and contentment.

I wish you good luck. Change is a powerful bolt whether its positive or negative. Nice that you gave up your TV service -- I made that same decision years ago and have felt that hold of media conditioning drop away. Great feeling. -- barbara

Hi Debbi:
Yes, it is a combination of excitement and uncertainty, but I am looking forward to it nonetheless. Hope things are well in your neck of the woods. Thanks for commenting.

Hi Barbara:
Thanks for the words of encouragement. I think more of us should give up the TV and get back into life. At first, I had a bored feeling and was not sure what to do with that extra two or three hours/day. Now, other activities have filled that time and I am much happier and fulfilled. Looks like you are getting ready for a big change too moving to Utah. Good luck to you and let us know how things are going via your blog. Take care.
